Last updated 11:38 AM on 6 August 2017

The students in Waagir recently created rainbows in their classroom.  The rainbows were created in a science experiment as part of their unit of learning "Changes in Materials".  The purpose of the experiment was to demonstrate how materials can change in different circumstances and these changes can't be reversed..

Skittles were placed in a bowl and Mr Farquhar poured hot water over them.  The children watched as the colours dissolved and created a colourful rainbow in the water.

The students enjoyed this experiment and were disappointed that there were no Skittles left over for eating.
