Thirty nine of our students qualified at our annual athletics carnival to participate at the Wallarah Zone PSSA Athletics Carnival Thursday 24 August at Mingara Athletics Centre.

Tacoma Public School carnival was held in bright sunshine on a beautiful winter day on Tuesday 8 August.  There were plenty of happy smiling faces in a sea of colour as our students participated in their house colours with enthusiasm and great sportsmanship.

While the older students competed in the traditional events such as running races, high jump etc, our infants enjoyed various activities including sack races, parachute games and balancing races.

It was wonderful to see so many parents and family members come along to support our students.

The carnival was a great success thanks to our interns for there fantastic organisation and the tireless efforts of our staff and parent helpers.  Good luck to our successful athletes in the Zone carnival.
