BUILDINGS

1968 The students in Tacoma Public School moved to a more modern school with one brick classroom.
1985 There was one brick classroom and three demountables for the four classes at the school.
1987 There were only three teachers so they used one of the demountables as a library.
1988 The log playground was built.
1992 There were four classes to use the four rooms presently on the site. A demountable library, office block and canteen were added to the site. The broken old boat in the playground was replaced by a newer one.
1993 The school had the original brick classroom, two demountable rooms, the demountable library and, was one of the first schools in New South Wales to trial a two room 'light weight' building. Our very dedicated parents constructed a half court tennis court.
1995 The two demountables were replaced by another 'light weight' building. The assembly area was covered with a metal shade roof in December. The environment area was enlarged with every child in the school planting their own tree.
1996 The demountable library was replaced by a 'light weight' library.
1997 A demountable classroom was brought in when another class was formed.
